Winter scene layout

Hi, everyone! I was inspired by Tim Holtz Tag for December 2014 to make this Winter scene layout and I used mostly his products to made this. I was also inspired by the words snow and bells from the poem Ring out the old, Ring in the new. For the base I used Simon Says Stamp woodgrain brown cardstock and I distressed it with distress ink in Vintage photo. Then I went with gold mica flakes paste arount it. I used Tim Holtz Pocket watch die and cut several layers of light chipboard. Then I used circle Sizzix die to cut the circle in the middle and painted the watch with distress paint in Picket fence. Then I put a coat of distress crackle paint in clear rock candy and went with distress stain in brushed corduroy on top to achieve the weathered look of the watch. For the background scene I used distress ink in Tumbled glass and Iced spruce. For the snow I used Tim Holtz Specks stamp and clear embossing powder. On top of the trees I put enamel accents in white color and I put snow paste at the bottom. I used seam binding for the bells and a silver snowflake from my stash.

Paris Memories Vintage Frame

Hi! I decided to alter a photo frame. The frame is made of plastics and the original color was silver. I put one coat of gesso and then I went with cream acrylics paint. On top of it I put distress crackle paint in clear rock candy. Then I used distress stain in Vintage Photo. For the metal plate I used gesso and distress crackle paint in clear rock candy as well as the several distress stains: Dried marigold, rusty hinge and gathered twigs. The corrugated cardboard I painted with cream acrylics paint. The Trellis Tim Holtz die is painted in weathered wood distress paint and then embossed with vintage photo distress embossing powder.

Also, I used frosted film for the window glass.

Vintage Shabby Christmas card

Hi! Here is the one in shabby style :) The card base is again from the corrugated cardboard which I love to use lately and I've just covered it slightly with gesso. I put a piece of an old note sheet, old dictionary page and some handmade post cards. I had two snowflakes in my stash and I put a distress glitter in rock candy on top. I used dried orange and a cinammon to embellish the card and I used memo pin from Tim Holtz to put the sentiment. A piece of a lace ribbon I attached with an old button.

December tag - Tim Holtz Monthly Tag 2014

Hello! This is my tag for Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2014 - December . Since I didn't have the emboosing folder that Tim used I used my Icicles embossing folder and I embossed the vellum (still waiting for my ordered Frosted). Then I went with distress stickles frosted lace over the embossed part of the tag. For the snow I used Tim Holtz speckles stencil and the picket fence distress paint.

Christmas card #2

Hi all! This is my second Christmas card for 2014. I used Tim Holtz door embossing folder to make a door. Then I used a brad to make a door knob and a wooden skate. For the wreath I used a wire and put a snow paste on it and a bell. On the top I put the ribbon and made a bow. Then I used a Sizzix die for the holiday green on the top of the card. The card base is from the craft cardstock which I distressed with a Vintage photo ink. Then I used a on of the Tim Holtz embossing folders to make a wooden look of the wall. The letters are from Tim Holtz Vintage market die painted in Tarnished brass distress paint. The cardstock I used for this card is Tim Holtz Nostalgic collection. Sorry for the bad photos....I am not good in taking pictures :(

Christmas card

Hi! I was inspired to make a Christmas card as a wintery scene. For the background I used the Tim Holtz Specks stamp and clear embossing powder and then I distressed the background with several Distressed inks in blue tones. For the scene I used the two Tim Holtz on the edge dies: Townscape and Tree Lines on white cardstock. Then I used yellow and orange Gelatos to color the windows. I also used clear glitter and Merry Christmas die cut from Tim Holtz Christmas ephemera pack.
